Welcome to Wisbech Day NurseryWisbech Day Nursery has been established since 2010 and is conveniently located close to Wisbech town centre. We provide full-time and sessional day care for children from birth to school age.
The nursery is registered with Ofsted and is open Monday to Friday from 7.00am to 6.30pm, providing flexible childcare options to meet the individual needs of families.
We offer a range of funded childcare options, including Working Parents funding for eligible children from 9 months, the Free Two-Year-Old Government Funded Scheme for eligible children, and flexible Government Funded Early Years Education for eligible children from the term after their third birthday.
Our aim is to work closely with families to provide high-quality, flexible childcare that supports every child’s individual needs, development and wellbeing.

Learning Through Play
We believe children learn “all day, every day” through play, exploration and meaningful interactions. Our practitioners follow children’s interests and use responsive, in-the-moment planning to extend learning as opportunities arise.

Established in 2010, we provide high-quality, flexible childcare for children from birth to school age, with full-time and sessional places and a range of government-funded childcare options to support families.
Welcoming a child to the nursery
Children about to start nursery are encouraged to make one or two familiarisation visits with a parent/carer to help them settle in. On their first ‘proper’ day with us they will be welcomed by their Key Person and re-introduced to the other children. Whilst we try not to encourage children to bring their own toys from home with them, however sometimes a teddy or blanket can be a comfort for them in their first few sessions. However, most children quickly settle in and enjoy their new surroundings.
The day nursery has mature, experienced staff who provide commitment and consistency for both you and your child. Wisbech Day Nursery endeavours to ensure your child develops and reaches their full potential on their Learning Journey, in a caring, happy and fun environment.
The nursery opens from Monday to Friday all year round. Sessions are from 7am until 6.30pm. The nursery provides sessional care, funded early education for two-, three- and four-year-old children
The nursery supports children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, and those speaking English as an additional language.
